So why was it a good week you ask? Well thanks for asking.
Positive #1, I have a brand spanking new battery in my airplane and it starts in a hurry.
Positive #2, I have a new iPhone 4S. Yes I had to wait in line for two hours on Friday morning to get it. That of course was after I had shut off the water to the house from the leaky toilet.
Positive #3, I had to go to Home Depot so many times to get the correct toilet parts that I now know the people in the pluming section on a first name basis.
Positive #4, The house value has now increased because the toilet is now zero hours since a new overhaul.
Positive #5, Every single bath towel, beach towel, kitchen towel, hand towel, and wash cloth is now freshly washed and put away. They were all used in the leaky toilet water recovery effort.
Positive #6, Saturday I flew my airplane for 2.5 hours. This was a pretty big deal for me because six months ago I had said goodbye to my airplane thinking that I would never get to fly it again. The next day I was going in for the chest biopsy because the doctors again thought I had cancer. I guess one can learn from that experience that these doctor folk aren’t always right. I may have to remove that last sentence if Erika reads this.
Positive #7, After six months on steroids I weigh less then when I started and I still have my hair and teeth. YES!!!! Again what do doctors know??? So maybe I’m a little chubby cheeked, but it could be worse.
Positive #8, Erika is still doing well after her brain hemorrhage that happened two years ago this month
Positive #9, I got to meet and spend two hours with a banjo maker
Positive #10, The toilet got cleaned
Well I’m expecting this to be another good week. As I am writing this the doorbell started ringing and humming for no good reason. Oh and I get my next radiation dose this week to check up on the spud crop. This is helpful in that for a period of weeks afterwards I will get compliments on my “radiant” complexion.
Below, for your viewing pleasure, are some pictures from this weekend’s Cedar Mills Flyin. I might add that most of them were taken on the new 4S thanks to the baptism.

Isn't it funny how it all works out? Sounds like an amazing week (minus the toilet repairs) and can't wait to hear which banjo you decide on. Your airplane looks pretty happy too!
